Idag har vi ca 70 instruktörer som ska gå på Klättercentrets årliga instruktörsseminarium. Något vi infört att köra lagom till Jul. En combo av viktiga uppdateringar i säkerhet och kursstrutkur, uppdateringar om företagets ekonomi och värderingar samt en nice get-together med middag och överraskningsäventyr.

Iår har jag satt ihop överraskningen… De andra har fått slita en massa med både den och allt det andra. Jag tror det blir sjukt bra!

Fantastiskt utflykt till 4H Kalhäll

Idag tog vi cyklarna, satt Robin i vagnen och cyklade från K-Ängen till Kalhäll. Ett välkommet avbrott i allt stök med nya huset… Robin fick där träffa kaniner, getter, får, höns, en tupp och hästar. Huruvida djuren eller tvättmaskinen inne i stallet var roligast vet vi inte.

Bredvid 4H låg en lite lekplats och Robin fick gunga och åka rutschkana, en toppendag helt enkelt.

Nu blir det tillbaka till lite jobbvardag för mig, jag kliver av pappaledigheten ett tag och kommer jobba istället…

Clean aid

“Clean” aid på Ryssgraven.

Den fina lilla leden “Lilla Syster Kanin” (5b) med utmärkta säkringar och ett trevligt litet crux på slutet när man gör den fritt visade sig vara stökig att faktiskt clean-aida-cleant… Dvs att inte använda några skyhooks eller annat som kan skada klippan!

Jag blev tvungen att efter en MYCKET suspekt tri-cam placering ställa mig i en hook, det var första hooken på lead på 2 år! Bra för psyket det där!

Idag har jag testat lite nya metoder när jag aidade. setupen var följande:

- Gri-gri som repsolo-säkring, med en belaymaster för att minska risken för snedbelastad karbin vid fall.

- en Microcender med ca 2m statrep istället för fifi och daisys, glisknut till karbin och en stållänk istället för karbin för att få den kortare till selen. (hade fortfarande en fifi med och daisys kopplade till stegarna, men ska nog byta ut det mot repsnöre…)

- det vanliga skrotet.

- För att minimera “fusk”/friklättrings-möjligheterna så körde jag i ett par storskor…

Ryssgraven är vår nya hemmaklippa.

Svärmor passade R lite medans vi fick sticka iväg och klättra några timmar.

Idag fick vi “multipitcha” lite, fantastiskt roligt först en fin jamspricka upp till ett dieder där vi byggde vår stand(läs fika)plats för att sedan klätra en tunnsäkrad 4 och en bultad sexa. “Pytheas resa till Thule” (6) Skrevs av Alf Henriksson 1985, ett ganska roligt lednamn egentligen eftersom det är en helt galen fabulerad historia om Pytheas resor i Sverige(Thule) och han driver vett och villigt med alla historiska fakta…

Leden var lite av ett one move wonder, men vilket move!

GetThreadInfo may not always give what you want. For debuging purposes Lsi_Info is a little better. BUT Warning from severals sites as well as openlog is that Lsi_Info is not thread safe, and should not be used in production!

Spännande, nu ska jag hålla IT kurs nästa vecka uppe i Sandviken, sen är det 2 månaders pappaledigt från stora delar av verkligheten. Ska bli väldigt intressant, roligt, upplyftande, annorlunda…

R börjar bli stor, han kan säga lampa, sätta på kaffekokaren till pappa på morgonen och inte jaga Trolla i några sekunder. Vi får se vad som händer nu när han börjar upptäcka att han är han! Det som många kallar trotsålder 1, jag läste i en bok (Min kompetenta familj) att trotsåldern är att föräldrarna är trotsiga, dom vägrar att låta sitt lilla barn utvecklas vidare. Vi får väl se hur det går…

Upgraded the Domino server to 8.5.3 on Win Server SBS 2011 and had two brand new errors on my hand.

1. The JVM did’nt initialize… Interesting, took care of that the old fashion windows way, restart, reinstall, restart = Working…

2. The service didn’t start. This seems to be some strange problem with Server 2008+ and the problem persists in 2011. I had to add:

The above for my single server installation, the service didn’t even bother to kick in otherwise. (Did’nt even get nada in the console logs).
